IED explosion hits Islah militants’ military vehicle in Marib

MARIB, June 23 (YPA) – An improvised explosive device (IED, on Thursday exploded and targeted a military pickup vehicle, carrying recruits loyal to Saudi-led coalition forces in Marib city.

Local sources said that the IED’s explosion hit the vehicle carrying Islah militants, while it was stopping near the bin Jaber station near the Safer triangle, the entrance to the governmental complex.

The sources, added that the explosion destroyed the vehicle and caught fire, amid reports of some injured.

The coalition factions in Marib have been witnessing physical killings and interpersonal assassinations amid accusations of a group of military leaders working for Tariq Afash.
