Meteorology expects scattered showers in various areas

SANAA, June 22 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected sporadic rains of varying intensity, in a number of Yemeni provinces.

The center affirmed, its weather bulletin on Thursday, that the rains would praveil over parts of the provinces of Hajjah, Mahweet, Rayma, Taiz, Saada, Ibb, Lahj and Amran, Sanaa and Dhamar, Dhalea, Abyan, Bayda, Shabwa and Hadramout.

The center indicated that the weather may be hot during the day on deserts and internal plateaus, with maximum temperatures ranging between 40-44 degrees Celsius on coast areas.
It expected that the winds would be very fast around the Socotra Archipelago, reaching 40 knots.

The center called on the motorists to drive carefully on mountain roads a s result of the low horizontal visibility during rain.
