Omani delegation arrives in Sanaa

SANAA, June 20 (YPA) – An Omani delegation of businessmen arrived on Tuesday at the capital Sanaa.

The delegation was received by Director General of the Yemeni Organization for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control, Sam Al-Bashiri, who met and welcomed the delegation.

In the meeting, the two sides discussed areas of cooperation between in supporting and encouraging investors, as well as the facilities provided by the Authority in terms of support and technical advice related to aspects of specifications and standards.

During the meeting, Al-Bashiri reviewed the authority’s activities and tasks in consumer protection, providing facilities and services to investors, and strengthening cooperation relations with the regional and international commercial and industrial sectors in Yemen.

For its part, the Omani delegation pointed to the importance of the authority’s activity and its achievements, in addition to the encouragement and technical advice it provides to businessmen.
