Restaurants’ strike sparks security moves in Aden

ADEN, June 20 (YPA) – A security deployment was carried out on Tuesday in the vicinity of the local authority building in Al-Mualla city of Aden province, south of Yemen.

Local sources said that the reason for the deployment came to convoy of important personalities who may visit the local authority building.

The sources affirmed that the movement also came in light of the continuation of the majority of restaurants to go on strike, which began last Sunday, in protest against the imposition of exorbitant taxes on shop owners by the local authorities.
