Tariq Saleh complies with people of Al-Subiha’s demands

HODEIDA, June 20 (YPA) – Gunmen of Al- Subaiha tribes forced “Tariq Affash”, the commander loyal to the UAE to comply with their demands after violent confrontations, which left dead and wounded in Al-Khawkha district, south of Hodeida.

Activists on social platforms circulated a document for the appointment of “Hamdoun Aref Zain Mohammed Al-Subaihi” as commander of the Support Brigade, instead of the recruit Fahd Hassan Abdul-Jabbar Zamet, who was appointed last Friday after the overthrow of the leader Muhammad Abdo Salem Al-Alqami Al-Subaihi “Abu Diab”, one of the most prominent founders of the brigade.

Affash’s new decision comes after the rebellion of Al-Alqami gunmen in rejection of Zamat’s decision, who were able to impose a siege on Affash’s forces after violent confrontations that left dead and wounded in the Al-Khawkha area and capture a number of military vehicles, including tanks.

Al-Subaiha activists considered the decision to overthrow the leader Al-Alqami by Affash and the appointment of the recruit Zamet as commander of the brigade aimed at splitting the ranks among the recruits of Al-Subaiha who are on the western coast after sending hundreds of them to Shabwa under the pretext of repositioning at the end of 2021.
