Gold prices drop in Sanaa, rise dramatically in Aden
SANAA, June 18 (YPA) – Gold prices in Sanaa and other provinces under the control of the National Salvation Government decreased on Sunday by $1.15, equivalent to 287.72 Yemeni riyals, and the selling price of the gold pound decreased to 235,000 riyals.
In another context, gold prices rose significantly in Aden province and the other areas under the control of the government formed by the Saudi-led coalition countries as the selling price of the gold pound reached 610,000 riyals.
The indices of gold prices in the goldsmiths’ markets in Sanaa came as follows:
– One gram of 24-karat gold costs 34,5000 Yemeni Riyals (YER) to buy and 36,000 YER to sell.
– One gram of 21-karat gold costs 29,000 YER to buy and 31,500 YER to sell.
– One gold pound costs 232,000 YER to buy and 235,000 YER to sell.
The updated gold prices in the goldsmith shops in Aden are as follows:
– One gram of 24-karat gold costs 84,000 YER to buy and 89,000 YER to sell.
– One gram of 21-karat gold costs 75,000 YER to buy and 80,000 YER to sell.
– One gold pound costs 589,000 YER to buy and 610,000 YER to sell.
