WORLD, June 13 (YPA) – The United States Central Command (CENTCOM), admitted that 22 of its soldiers were injured, as a helicopter that was carrying them crashed, in the areas where the occupation forces are stationed in northeastern Syria.
“A helicopter mishap in northeastern Syria resulted in injuries of various degrees to 22 US soldiers,” the CENTCOM said in a statement.
“The cause of the incident is under investigation,” according to the CENTCOM.
Ten of the injured were evacuated from the so-called “central command’s area of operations” to receive treatment in higher care health facilities, the statement said.
