Meteorologists issue warnings of Tropical storm Biparjoy

SANAA, June 09 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology has waned against indirect effects of Tropical storm Biparjoy that would extend to the eastern Gulf of Aden and the Socotra Archipelago.

The center stated in its weather forecast on Friday that rainfall would prevail over the far east of the Yemeni territorial waters, east of the Gulf of Aden and southeast of the Socotra archipelago.

It pointed to southwest winds, with speeds ranging between 22-36 knots, will work on severe turbulence in the sea, with the wave height reaching between 3 to 5.5 meters.
The center noted there a decrease in the horizontal visibility range of 3-5 km would be possible.

It warned the captains of all kinds of ships and fishermen in the far eastern territorial waters, east of the Gulf of Aden and the Socotra archipelago of bad weather.
