Yemeni riyal falls further in southern, eastern provinces

SANAA, June 08 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal’s devaluation continued on Thursday, reaching a new record decline in financial transactions in the Saudi-led coalition-controlled provinces.

In Aden, the US dollar reached 1,349 Yemeni riyals for sale and 1,338 for purchase, while the Saudi riyal reached 356 riyals for sale and 354 riyals for purchase, according to the financial transaction exchange.

In the capital, Sanaa, the US dollar exchange rate remained consistent at 530 riyals for sale and 528 riyals for purchase.
