Al-Alimi forces arrest head of STC’s branch in Lahj

LAHJ, June 07 (YPA) – A security force affiliated with Al-Alimi managed on Tuesday to arrest the head of the Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s branch in the district of Halimayn in Lahj province, southern Yemen.

Local sources reported that the security forces arrested Brigadier General Naji al-Karbi after he tried to resist the security men.

The sources pointed out that Brigadier General Al-Karbi was arrested following a protest on a land he claims to belong to him.
