Taiz responds to appeal of Tihama people with mass rally

TAIZ, July 3 (YPA) – Responding to the appeal of Tihama people in the western coast, the province of Taiz witnessed on Tuesday a large mass under the slogan “No for invasion and occupation, the coast is everyone’s responsibility”.

The participatnts, who gathered from Taiz and Ibb provinces, expressed thier full solidarity with the people of Tihama, and their support to the Yemeni army and popular committees in countering the aggressors and occupyers.

During the rally, which was attended by several social figures from Taiz and Ibb, Governor of Taiz Abdu al-Janadi delivered a speech, greeting the masses who gathered from the two provinces to participate in the rally.

Al-Jandi called on the aggression coalition countries’ leaders not to underestimate the will of the Yemeni people, and to stop the aggression immediately.

“The Yemeni people will not led down their homeland, sovereignty and independence,” said al-Jandi, stressing that “the port of Hodeidah is a red line.”

Al-Janadi called for the mobilization to support the fronts to confront the invaders and aggressors, as they target all the people of Yemen.

He praised the sacrifices of Tihama people and the army forces and their victories against the aggression forces in the western coast.
