Yemeni riyal experiences record decline in southern, eastern provinces

SANAA, May 28 (YPA) – The rate of depreciation of the Yemeni riyal accelerated on Sunday, reaching a record decline in financial transactions in the Saudi-led coalition-controlled provinces.

According to the financial transactions exchange, the exchange rate of the US dollar in Aden reached 1,322 Yemeni riyals for sale and 1,307 for purchase, while the Saudi riyal reached 348 riyals for sale and 346 riyals for purchase.

As for the capital, Sanaa, the US dollar exchange rate in Sanaa was stable at 532 riyals for sale and 528 riyals for purchase due to measures taken by the government.
