Meteorology issues important warnings on rainy weather

SANAA, May 27 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology issued important warnings to all citizens in all Yemeni provinces regarding the weather changes.

In its weather bulletin on Saturday, the center urged citizens in rainy areas not to be present in the water ways and valleys in order to preserve their lives.

The center expected rains of varying intensity in the provinces of Saada, Jawf, Amran, Sanaa, Hajjah, Mahweet, Dhamar, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, Dhalea and Bayda, in addition to scattered showers in parts of Marib, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, Al-Mahra and the Socotra Archipelago.

It warned drivers of a decrease in the range of horizontal visibility on mountain roads during rain and fog formation, as well as of rock and mudslides.
