Pro-coalition gov’t about to announce decision that will burden citizen in Aden
ADEN, May 16 (YPA) – The government loyal to Saudi-led coalition is about to announce a decision that will burden citizens during the coming hours in the city of Aden and the rest of the southern province, sources said on Tuesday.
The sources confirmed that the pro-coalition government-controlled oil company held meetings with a number of officials of the Ministry of Oil and Finance in Aden to determine the new price of gasoline after the Yemeni riyal fell against foreign currencies.
A number of petrol stations witnessed long queues for cars to supply them with fuel in various areas of Aden, according to the sources.
This coincides with the collapse of the electricity service and the outage of most of the power generators due to the depletion of fuel.
