WORLD, May 16 (YPA) – An air alert has been announced in the capital, Kiev, at dawn on Tuesday, following explosions reportedly heard across the city, according to the Ukrainian agency “Ukrinform”.
The alarm map on the website of the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Development showed sirens sounded in several Ukrainian provinces, especially in the Nikolaev, Kirovograd, Poltava, Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia provinces in Ukraine, warning of Russian air strikes.
Sirens first sounded in the Nikolaev district at 01.58 (Sana’a time), then spread to other provinces, according to the alarm map.
It is noteworthy that the Russian army began its missile and air strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure and vital sites since October 10, two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, for which the Russian authorities blame Ukrainian intelligence.
