PM: Working class is among most affected by aggression, blockade, deserves respect

SANAA, May 15 (YPA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, said on Monday that “the working class is among the most affected by the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition and blockade, and deserves respect and work to improve its conditions.”

This came during his participation in the rhetorical and honoring ceremony for the cleaning and improvement workers in the Republic of Yemen, which was held today by the capital Sanaa, represented by the Cleaning and Improvement Fund and the General Union of Municipal and Housing Workers.

The Prime Minister expressed his thanks to the organizers of the honoring ceremony and the workers and employees of the cleaning sector, who bear the responsibility for the beauty of cities, especially the capital’s secretariat, and maintaining its cleanliness.

He confirmed that the government would work to provide health insurance for the cleaning workers and improve their standard of living.

For his part, the Mayor of the capital, Hamoud Obad, indicated that honoring the cleaning workers on International Workers’ Day is an expression of the country’s leaders’ gratitude to the cleaning workers’ efforts for the sake of human, life and environment cleanliness.

Obad urged the managers of the cleaning and improvement funds in the rest of the provinces to provide health insurance for the cleaning workers, noting that the capital’s secretariat would work to establish a hospital for them according to the available capabilities.
