SAHABWA, May 15 (YPA) – Armed clashes broke out on Monday two tribes in Habban district, south of the UAE forces-held city of Ataq, the center of the Shabwa province.
Local sources affirmed that the clashes between the tribes of Al-Jassar and Al-Balkhadr in Habban district came against the background of a tribal vendetta, which left a number of wounded.
The clashes erupted after the killing of Nasser bin Saleh al-Jasari at the hands of one of Belkhadr’s sons in early March, amid the absence of state authorities since 2016.
Shabwa districts have witnessed unprecedented security chaos in light of the spread of the UAE-funded factions after confrontations with the Islah militants last August.
