Meteorology warns residents of increasing temperatures

SANAA, May 14 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology warned of very hot weather in the desert and coastal areas, with temperatures ranging from 35 to 39 degrees Celsius.

In its weather bulletin, the center has advised citizens in desert areas, internal plateaus, coastal plains and the Socotra archipelago not to be exposed to direct sunlight during the next 24 hours as a result of the hot and extremely hot weather.

It had expected clear to partly cloudy weather, with the possibility of sporadic rain, which may sometimes be accompanied by thunderstorms, on parts of the provinces of Hajjah, Al-Mahweet, Amran, Dhamar, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, Dhalea, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout.
