Sporadic rain expected to prevail over parts of Yemen provinces

SANAA, May 13 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected on Saturday sporadic rain in parts of the provinces of Yemen.

The center said in its weather forecast that the light rains would prevail over the provinces of Mahweet, Hajjah and west of Sanaa, Dhamar, Rayma, Ibb, Taiz, Abyan, Socotra Archipelago, as well as the southern heights of Shabwa and Hadramout.

It indicated that the weather would be hot to very hot during the day in the desert, internal plateaus, coastal areas and the Socotra archipelago, with the maximum temperatures ranging between 35 to 40 degrees Celsius.

The center called on citizens in areas where rain expected not to be in the valleys and water ways during and after the rains, warning drivers on mountain roads in the western highlands of the decrease in the horizontal vision range.
