SANAA, May 10 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology is expected scattered showers on several Yemeni provinces during the coming hours.
The center said, in its weather bulletin on Wednesday, that scattered rain would fall on the Socotra archipelago and the provinces of Saada, Hajjah, Mahweet, Rayma, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, and Dhalea.
It pointed out that the weather may be warm during the day in desert, internal plateaus, coastal areas and the Socotra archipelago, with temperatures ranging between 33 to 39 degrees Celsius.
The center warned fishermen and sea-goers around the Socotra archipelago and southeast of the Gulf of Aden of sea turbulence and high waves, as well as to citizens in desert areas and coastal plains of heat-wave.
