PM praises Water Ministry’s efforts to use alternative energy in its projects

SANAA, May 09 (YPA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor praised the Water and Environment Ministry’s efforts to use alternative and clean energy and reduce dependence on fossil fuels in water and sanitation projects .

This came during his meeting on Tuesday with the Minister of Water and Environment, Eng. Abduraqeeb Al Shurmani, who briefed him on the ministry’s programs to expand its service activities and activate its role in preserving the environment in the capital, Sanaa, and provinces, as well as the challenges facing this important service sector.

The meeting touched upon the issue of managing organic and solid wastes and benefiting from them, similar to many countries that have successful experiences in this field.
