Sanaa FM condemns Zionist aggression against Gaza Strip

SANAA, May 09 (YPA) – Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sanaa government strongly condemned the Zionist aggression and its crimes committed against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The ministry said in a statement on Tuesday that the Zionist aggression and targeting unarmed civilians by killing and arresting, and the assassination of leaders in the Islamic Jihad movement, represents a flagrant violation of all human values and international covenants, especially the four Geneva Conventions.

The statement warned the Zionist entity against continuing the attack on the Gaza Strip and the rest of the Palestinian Arab lands, including the city of al-Quds, noting that the continuation of Zionist arrogance will lead to a threat to the security and safety of all countries in the region.

It called on the Arab countries and the UN Security Council, especially the five permanent members to assume their moral and national responsibility to intervene to stop the repeated barbaric aggression against civilians in the Gaza Strip.
