Sanaa accepts direct communication with any Yemeni party, without external agents

SANAA, May 01 (YPA) – Member of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Abdulmalik Al-Ajri, has revealed that the Sanaa government accepts direct communication with any Yemeni party that has the audacity to bypass the external agent.

“The release of Faisal Rajab on a local community initiative that would draw the attention of Yemenis to the contribution the local initiatives can make to resolving the crisis, especially in its internal dimension related to the dispute between the Yemeni forces,” said Al-Ajri on Sunday in a tweet on Twitter platform.

Al-Ajri pointed out that the advantage of such initiatives is that they are shielded from the external, regional and international agendas that the UN-brokered negotiations bear and make them more complicated than they are.

He continued, “As for Ansarullah and the political leadership in Sanaa, they have no problem in direct communication with any Yemeni party that has the audacity to bypass the external agent.”
