Release of Faisal Rajab exposes coalition’s selectivity towards prisoners: Al-Mortada

SANAA, April 30 (YPA) – Head of the National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs in Sanaa, Abdul Qadir Al-Mortada, confirmed on Sunday that the release of Major General Faisal Rajab was a tribute to the tribes of Abyan.

Al-Mortada reiterated that the prisoner Rajab was not part of the upcoming deal, pointing out that Sanaa has all the documents proving that.

“It is clear that there is selectivity on the part of the coalition parties and its tools for the prisoners they belong to, according to their affiliation and region,” Al-Mortada added.

He announced again Sanaa’s readiness to implement an all-for-all deal, indicating that the other party is not ready for that.

“We still have a lot of papers that we will negotiate to free all our prisoners,” he said.
