Meteorology expects rains of varying intensity within coming hours

SANAA, April 21 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology is expected rains of varying intensity at the heights of several provinces during the next 24 hours.

The center said, in its weather bulletin on Friday, that expected rains would prevail over the heights of Saada, Hajjah, Mahweet, Amran, Sanaa, Raymah, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz and Bayda.

It pointed to the possibility of active winds at the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, the western coasts and parts of the Gulf of Aden, with speeds reaching 15 to 25 knots.

The center warned citizens against being in the torrential ways and valleys, calling on motorists to drive carefully on mountainous roads due to a decrease in the horizontal visibility and fog.
