Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi: “Stampede incident reaffirms need to take care of poor”

SANAA, April 20 (YPA) – The Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, said on Thursday that the stampede incident that took place last night in Sanaa confirms the need for serious action by the Yemeni people in the charitable field.

During his Ramadan lecture aired this night, Sayyed Abdulmalik stressed the importance of paying zakat and paying attention to this aspect within the relief work that alleviates the suffering of the poor.

He urged senior merchants to coordinate with the General Authority for Zakat in large charitable activities because it is a concerned party with great experience in these tasks.
