Sanaa forces repel infiltration attempt of coalition in Marib

MARIB, April 19 (YPA) – Sana’a forces managed on Tuesday to repel an advance attempt carried out by coalition forces,ocal sources reported.

Tribal sources in Marib confirmed to the” Yemeni Press Agency ” that units of Sana’a forces managed to repel an infiltration attempt carried out by coalition forces with artillery support on the outskirts of Sirwah district, which led to deaths and injuries of both parties.

The sources explained that coalition forces, reinforced by elements of al-Qaeda, launched from their positions at the western gate of the city of Marib a large advance operation supported by artillery shelling and armored vehicles towards the village of al-Zour administratively belonging to the district of Sirwah.
