Speaker of Parliament congratulates his counterpart in Syria

SANAA, April 17 (YPA) – The Speaker of Parliament, Yahya Ali al-Ra’i, sent on Monday a cable of congratulations to his counterpart, the speaker of the Syrian people’s Assembly in the Syrian Arab Republic, Mr. Hamouda Sabbagh, on the occasion of the brotherly Syrian people’s celebrations of Evacuation Day.

In the Telegram, al-Ra’i expressed his deepest congratulations and the Yemeni people to the brotherly Syrian people on the anniversary of the evacuation of the last French soldier from the Arab land of Syria, pointing to the sacrifices of the Syrian people during 77 years and their positions against the enemies of the nation.

He also expressed his wishes to the president of the Syrian people’s Assembly continued health and happiness, and bilateral and parliamentary relations between the two countries and the brotherly Yemeni and Syrian peoples further development.
