Sanaa’s delegation discusses with UN envoy comprehensive solution, stages of prisoners release

MUSCAT, April 04 (YPA) – Sanaa’s negotiating delegation, headed by Mohammed Abdulsalam, met this evening, Tuesday, in the Omani capital, Muscat, with the UN envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg.

The meeting discussed humanitarian and political arrangements for a comprehensive solution, as well as the stages of the release of prisoners.

Head of the National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs, Abdulqader al-Mortada, announced on March 20 that an agreement had been reached to exchange 706 prisoners of Sanaa for 181 prisoners of the Saudi-led coalition forces, including Saudis and Sudanese, and it would be implemented on the 19th of Ramadan.
