Iran, Saudi Arabia agree to hold meeting to discuss cooperation

SANAA, April 02 (YPA) – The foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and Prince Faisal bin Farhan, agreed, in a phone call on Sunday, to hold a meeting during the coming days, according to Iranian media outlets.

During the call, Amir Abdollahian expressed his satisfaction with the positive path of bilateral relations with the Saudi foreign minister bin Farhan, affirming the determination of his country to develop its neighborhood policy.

The Iranian Fars news agency stated that bin Farhan stressed the need for continuous communication and meeting between officials of the two countries, describing the ongoing process as positive and satisfactory.

Meanwhile, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) indicated that the two ministers discussed many issues of interest to the two countries, in addition to discussing the next steps in light of the recent tripartite agreement.
