OCCUPIED PALESTINE, March 31 (YPA) – Over 250,000 worshipers performed Friday prayers of Ramadan in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the restrictions imposed by Zionist enemy at the doors of the mosque and all entrances.
According to Shehab News Agency, Palestinians from the West Bank have flocked to military checkpoints around the occupied city of Al- Quds (Jerusalem) since dawn to enter the city and perform Friday prayer.
Temporary Zionist checkpoints were also set up at the entrances to the Old City of Jerusalem, where the mosque is located, to further tighten the restrictions on the entry of Palestinian Muslim worshipers into the compound.
Other Palestinians who were denied entry into the city prayed at Israeli checkpoints in the West Bank in protest after they were blocked from entering the holy city.
