Yemeni riyal records new low against foreign currencies

SANAA, 29 March (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal recorded new low against foreign currencies on Wednesday in the Saudi-led coalition-controlled provinces of Aden and Hadramout, reaching 1,252 Yemeni riyals per dollar and 334 Saudi riyals per Saudi riyal.

Nonetheless, thanks to the Sanaa government’s monetary stability measures implemented last year, the Yemeni riyal exchange rate in Sanaa has remained stable at 549 riyals per dollar and 146 riyals per Saudi riyal.
