Coalition destroys 49 judicial facilities in Yemen

SANAA, March 28 (YPA) – About 49 judicial facilities have been destroyed by the Saudi-led coalition since the war on Yemen began in 2015.

The judiciary said in a news statement that 21 facilities were completely destroyed and 28 others targeted partially, with material losses amounting to more than $100 million.

The statement indicated that about 7,442 reports of bombing incidents were received by the Public Prosecution, including reports of more than 17,000 civilian deaths and 28,000 wounded.

It stated that the cost of restoring the buildings destroyed by the coalition bombing and exceeded two billion two hundred eighty-six million riyals.

The statement added that the Public Prosecution since conducted 5,956 investigations into bombing crimes committed by the coalition.

Meanwhile, Judge Nabil Al-Azzani, Minister of Justice in Sanaa expressed his thanks to every judge in the judiciary in the countryside and urban areas to their natoinal steadfastness against the siege and aggression during the eight years, adding that the fruits of national steadfastness in the face of the coalition are tangible in stability and justice.
