President Al-Mashat orders decent reception for liberated prisoners

SANAA, March 28 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, on Tuesday directed that a reception be held for the liberated prisoners, befitting their great sacrifices and steadfastness in the prisons of the Saudi-led coalition.

This came during his meeting in Sanaa with the Head of the National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs, Abdulqadir Al-Mortada, Major General Yahya Abdullah Al-Razami, and Mohammad Ali Al-Marafa.

During the meeting, President Al-Mashat listened to a detailed explanation from the team about the recent negotiations that took place in the Swiss capital, Bern, which resulted in the release of 706 prisoners.

The president thanked the negotiating team for their efforts, urging them to continue their efforts to complete the liberation of the rest of the prisoners.
