Army foils infiltration of militiamen in Jizan

JIZAN, July 2 (YPA) – The army repelled a large scale infiltration of Saudi army and its militiamen on Sunday in Asir border province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Monday.

The infiltration was repelled in the west of Nar mount and nearby sites.

Meanwhile, artillery and missile force of the army shelled gatherings of Saudi army and its militiamen during repelling the infiltration as well as the army destroyed a military vehicle, killing and wounding dozens.

The infiltration was backed with warplanes and reconnaissance, which launched more than 10 strikes without achieving any progress.

Furthermore, artillery and missile shelling targeted gatherings of Saudi soldiers and their militiamen in MBC mount, Hathira, Om-Qateb setern village, Raqabt-Jahfan, Hamait-Qazaa, north of Maa’en valley and Qarna’a center.

Meanwhile, sniper unit of the army shot dead tem militiamen in the east of MBC mount while missile force shelled gatherings of Saudi soldiers and their military vehicles in Mostahdat Sayaba.
