New earthquake hits Turkey

WORLD, March 25 (YPA) – An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale shook on Friday Kahramanmaras, southern Turkey, The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center announced.

The earthquake epicenter was in the Nur Haq district of Kahramanmaras, at a depth of 15.5 km.

There were no reports of damage from this new earthquake.

The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) estimated the magnitude of the earthquake at 4.5 degrees, noting that it occurred at 07:39 am at a depth of 7 kilometers.
