Yemeni armed forces held military exercise

SANAA, March 22 (YPA) -The Yemeni armed forces on Wednesday revealed details of a military exercise in which various units participated.

The military said in a statement that the exercise, which took place on the occasion of the eighth year of steadfastness, simulated attack on variety of targets, including mountainous, desert, tree-lined targets.

“The maneuver took place with integration between all participating units and provision of combat support services. Units of anti-armor, engineering, air defense, air force and rocketry force participated in the maneuver,” the statement read.

The exercise was carried out from main and sub-directions and simulated the storming of mountain sites and targets from open areas in multiple stages and different formats.

Earlier in the day, The Ministry of Defense of the Sana’a had warned Saudi-led  coalition against its continued prevarication and escalation, stressing that the response will be surprising  and must take the warnings seriously.
