Yemen’s issue depends on decision of Yemenis themselves: Iranian FM

TEHRAN, March 21 (YPA) – Iran’s Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, confirmed on Monday that the issue of Yemen depends on the decision of the Yemenis themselves.

This came in a statement by Amir-Abdollahian with journalists, overnight, in response to a question about the repercussions of the Iranian-Saudi agreement on the Yemeni crisis, According to by the Islamic Iranian News Agency (IRNA).

“We consider the issue of Yemen as dependent on the decision of the Yemenis themselves,” he said, “with a reminder that the emphasis on sending peace, stability and sustainable security in the region came also on the ladder of the recent consensus between Tehran and Riyadh.”
