Four tons of expired food destroyed in Bayda

BAYDA, March 18 (YPA) – The Office of Industry and Trade in Bayda province destroyed on Saturday four tons of expired food and consumer goods that were collected in the past two months in the province.

During the destruction process, Director of the Office of Industry and Trade in Bayda, Ahmed Al-Tahri, indicated that the destruction took place after all necessary procedures were completed.

Al-Tahri affirmed the continuation of field operations to monitor the markets, and he urged citizens to assist in reporting dealers who manipulate prices and monopolize goods, as well as those involved in selling outdated materials so that they can be seized and legal action taken against them.
