STC militia abducts tribal Sheikh from Al-Subaiha in Lahj
LAHJ, March 13 (YPA) – The tribes of Al-Subaiha held a meeting in response to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) forces’ attack on Sheikh Saddam Boukri Al-Subaihi and kidnapping him from his house in Lahj governorate, local sources reported.
According to the sources, the UAE-backed STC militia, led by Saleh al-Sayyid al-Yafei, have beaten Sheikh Saddam al-Subaihi with rifle butts in front of his children and family, without mercy or pity, and kidnapped and took him to an unknown location.
They also assulated women and children in the house, one of the sources said
He pointed out that the attack caused a state of fear and panic among the children and family of Sheikh Al-Subaihi.
The source considered raiding homes and assaulting women and children is a violation of religious customs and tribal traditions.
He stressed that the tribes of Al-Subaiha come together to rehabilitate Sheikh Saddam Boukri, and to deter all those who assaulted women and children.
