Over 6 billion riyals in water projects inaugurated in Amran

AMRAN, March 08 (YPA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor inaugurated and laid the foundation stone on Wednesday for 56 water projects in Amran province, at a total cost of 6,673,580,000 riyals, with the support of donor organizations and partners.

The inaugurated projects included 16 water projects belonging to the local corporation for water and sanitation, totaling 1,383,516,000 riyals, and 19 projects run by the General Authority for Rural Water Projects, totaling 3,094,000,000 riyals.

Dr. bin Habtoor also laid the foundation stone for 21 water corporation projects in Amran, totaling 2,195,440,000 riyals.

The Prime Minister and his accompanists were briefed, during the inauguration, on the components of the projects that were inaugurated, as well as the laying of the foundation stone for them to cover the province’s people’s drinking water demands.
