Saada’s afforestation season for 1444 AH inaugurated

SAADA, March 08 (YPA) – The Governor of Saada province, Muhammad Jaber Awad, launched the province’s afforestation season for 1444 AH on Wednesday.

The season aims to plant more than 200,000 fruit and ornamental trees in Saada city’s streets, sidewalks, gardens, tours, and public parks, as well as fifteen districts.

The governor also offered to replace the Qat tree with two fruit trees, emphasizing the importance of the province’s people contributing to environmental preservation and raising public awareness about the necessity of tree planting.

He considered the inauguration a message to the aggression countries that afforestation, natural resources protection, and Yemeni culture development will continue regardless of the challenges.
