Judicial Council, local authority discuss coordination to enhance security, stability

SANAA, March 05 (YPA) – Head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Ahmed Yahya Al-Mutawakel, discussed on Sunday with Deputy Minister of Local Administration, Dr. Qasim Al-Homran, mechanisms of coordination between the Council and the local authority bodies to enhance security and stability.

The meeting, which was attended by a number of notables and sheikhs of the districts of Sawir in Amran province and Al-Jumaima in Hajjah province, touched on aspects related to the formation of a committee by the head of the Council to resolve some tribal disputes.

In the meeting, Judge al-Mutawakel pointed to the necessity of cooperation to promote the values of reconciliation and tolerance among society, including addressing issues of conflicts and revenges.

He noted the keenness of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council to resolve issues of tribal and societal conflicts, so as to strengthen unity in the face of aggression.

For his part, Al-Homran confirmed that the local authority bodies are keen to support the judicial bodies in addressing tribal issues and disputes in a way that enhances security, tranquility and social cohesion, especially in light of the continued aggression against Yemen.
