Military commander loyal to coalition injured in Marib

MARIB, March 05 (YPA) – A senior military commander loyal to Saudi-led coalition forces was wounded during fierce fighting which took place on frontlines,  southwest of the city of Marib.

Informed sources in Marib province told the Yemeni Press Agency that Brigadier General Akram al-Adimi, commander of the 13th Infantry Brigade affiliated with the coalition forces, was wounded during the ongoing confrontations between Sanaa forces and the coalition forces in Balaq  Al-Sharaqi mountain range.

The sources confirmed that “Al-Adimi” was transferred under tight security guard to a hospital in the city of Marib.

The sources pointed out that the Sanaa forces were able to repel a large advance carried out by the coalition forces in an attempt to control the strategic Balaq mountain range overlooking the city of Marib.
