SANAA, Feb. 28 (YPA) – Rainfall intensity will be expected, accompanied by thunderstorms, in separate parts of Yemeni provinces during the coming hours, the National Center of Meteorology said.
The center said in its weather forecast on Tuesday the rains would prevail over Saada, Hajjah, Mahweet, Raymah, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Ibb and Taiz.
It pointed out the possibility of active to strong winds blowing on the south of the western coast and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, reaching its maximum speed of 30 knots.
The center called on citizens in areas where rain expected not to be in the valleys during and after the rain, for protecting their safety, calling on motorists to drive carefully on mountainous roads due to the decrease in the horizontal visibility during rain or fog formation.
