Yemen to witness changes in weather patterns during coming hours

SANAA, Feb. 22 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology is expected cold to relatively cold weather in several provinces during the coming hours.

The center indicated, in its weather bulletin on Wednesday that the provinces of Dhamar, Amran, Sanaa, Bayda, Saada, Ibb and Dhalea will witness cold weather during the night and early morning hours, while the cold to relatively cold weather in the heights of Shabwa, Hadramout, Abyan, Jawf and Marib.

It stated that strong winds on the south of the western coast and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab to reach a maximum speed of 30 knots.

The center warned citizens, especially the elderly, children, patients, and workers during the night and early morning hours, to take the necessary precautions to prevent cold weather.
