SANAA, Feb. 21 (YPA) – The European and Mediterranean Seismological Center announced that an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter Scale struck Italy at dawn on Tuesday.
The center pointed out that the epicenter of the earthquake was located 5 km northeast of the city of Macerata in the province of Marche on the Italian East Coast, and the epicenter was two kilometers deep.
The population of the city is about 30.8 thousand people, but there was no immediate information on damage or casualties.
