Yemen condemns Zionist raids on Damascus

SANAA, Feb. 20 (YPA) – The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned on Sunday the Zionist aggression on residential neighborhoods in Damascus, the capital of Syrian Arab Republic.

In a statement, the ministry stressed that the Zionist aggression against Damascus is a flagrant violation of Syria’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity and evidence that the Zionist enemy is an eternal enemy of the Arab and Islamic nation.

The ministry called on the international community to play its role in condemning the blatant Zionist aggression, which is a violation to the Charter of the United Nations and all international norms and conventions.

It expressed solidarity with the Government and people of the brotherly Syrian Arab Republic and affirmed the right of Damascus to take appropriate measures to defend itself and protect its territory.
