Acting of Shura Council Speaker meets Deputy PM for Services.

 SANAA, June 30 (YPA) – Acting Speaker of the Shura Council, Mohammad Hussein Al-Aidarous, on Monday met with Deputy Prime Minister for Services, Mahmoud Al-Junaid in the presence of a number of Shura Council members.

Al-Aidarous pointed to the importance of the meeting to be acquainted with the latest developments in the Western Coast as a result of the Saudi-led coalition aggression escalation on Yemen as well as to stand on the relief efforts of the government which provided to displaced of Hodeidah to alleviate their suffering.

 

For his part, Al-Junaid reviewed the most important results of the government field task to Hodeidah, which was to identify the general and emergency needs of the province, especially in the field of water services, communications and electricity.

Al-Junaid also reviewed the difficulties in the health, education and relief aspects due to the escalation of the aggression in the Western Coast and the emergency treatments carried out by the government in implementation of the directives of the political leadership represented by President Mahdi al-Mashat.

Al-Junaid pointed out the importance of complementarity of efforts between the Shura Council and the Government of Salvation at this time as Yemen is witnessing a serious escalation of aggression in the Western Coast,  appreciating the efforts of the Shura Council to provide the political leadership and the Government of Rescue with opinions and suggestions on many issues related to service,

In the meeting, the officials stressed on the importance of the work of a joint operations room to coordinate government and popular efforts, in addition to the importance of the role of civil society organizations at this stage, especially to detect and document crimes of aggression.

The officials held United Nations the responsibility to  for stopping the aggression and lifting all-out blockade, calling for the rapid provision of aid to the displaced.
