Unprecedented mobilization carried out by STC militia in Lahj

LAHJ, Feb. 15 (YPA) – The province of Lahj, on Wednesday, witnessed an unprecedented mobilization of the Southern Transitional militia.

According to media sources, the Transitional militia has implemented a new deployment along the mountain ranges stretching from Radfan to Tur Al-Baha, at the southwestern outskirts of Lahj, pointing to the issuance of directives from the Transitional leadership to prepare for a possible escalation by “Shield of Homeland” forces and the Fourth Brigade of Islah party.

The Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s moves come after the success of “Homeland Shield” forces in controlling the strategic Kharaz mountains in Lahj overlooking Bab al-Mandab after confrontations with gunmen affiliated with STC.
